November 19, 2015 (Monticello, IL) – The winner of Kirby Medical Center’s Seventh Annual
Holiday Card Program has been decided! Pricaeus Smith, a 4th grade
student at Cerro Gordo Grade School, had the winning design. Her design will be
used as Kirby’s official holiday card for 2015. In recognition of her winning
design, Pricaeus received an at-home art supply kit, and her classroom received
a $100 Classroom Scholarship for use in the purchase of art supplies. The
contest was open to all 4th grade students from area schools.
Other finalists of Kirby’s 2015 Holiday Card Contest include KateLynn
Mikulich, Washington Elementary in Monticello; Lily Summers, Deland-Weldon
School; and Riley Knight, Blue Ridge Intermediate Junior High School.
Pricaeus and the other finalists will help Kirby celebrate the season by
participating on the Kirby Medical Center float in the Monticello Christmas
Parade on Saturday, December 5th, 2015. Their designs will be
displayed on the float. Additionally, the designs will be showcased at Kirby
Medical Center for the week before the parade.
