For over five years now, Kirby Medical Center has been sending patient satisfaction surveys to randomly selected patients. Those surveys have been administered on paper through the mail and filled out by hand.
However, in addition to the paper surveys, Kirby Medical Center began administering patient satisfaction surveys electronically via email in August. Randomly selected patients will receive a survey in either paper format or email format, but not both. Kirby Medical Center hopes that the availability of the survey in email form will add an additional convenience to patients as part of the hospital’s continued efforts to make it easier for them to submit feedback about patient experiences.
Both surveys contain the exact questions - regardless of the survey delivery method. And, as with the paper ones, the e-surveys are completely confidential.
